I am known for my work with adversity. I am also very vocal regarding my belief that the concept of adversity gets a bad reputation. No one wants to struggle, and we work hard to avoid those events that cause us pain. I am a big believer that those moments of adversity, and our reaction to them, shape our lives and who we become. Some of the most successful people in our history have experienced overwhelming obstacles and learned to manage and use them for growth and success. What if we could reframe how we view hardship? What if we saw it as a good opportunity to become better versions of ourselves? How different would our lives be if we could use our toughest past (or current) experiences to create a better future?
